Easter!

I figured I better get our Easter pictures on here before it is too late!

Hayders was just not too sure about this whole egg dying thing!

When we were dying easter eggs Hyrum wrote his name on his egg....that is what that blue egg has on it! After conference we went to D and Ali's house for dinner, an egg hunt, and some more fun easter baskets courtesy of D and Ali.

School Days!!!

This week Hyrum had his first day of school!!! My little man is growing up! We went school shopping and got a spiderman backpack, new unders, new shoes, and a new outfit! I couldn't believe how big he was...it was way more hard on me then it was on him! His teacher MADE him turn back and give me a kiss good-bye....and I cried the whole drive home! I hate growing up!!!

Bath Time!!!

This week we did a very brave thing...we put Hyrum in the tub with sister, and she survived. This week we have been counting our blessings even more then we have been before. A few weeks ago they announced at my work that they were doing lay-offs because of how slow we have been lately. I knew I was going to be on the chopping block because they were going by seniority only and I have only a year and a half behind me. After 2 weeks of uncertainty and lots and lots of tears I was called into my directors office and told that I was going to be one of the nurses let go. There was a possibility that I would be given another job at another hospital, but after so many rumors it is hard to believe anyone or anything you are being told. After a good cry and prayer in the bathroom I went back out to the floor to finish my shift. Four hours later I got called to my director's office again and offered a job in the labor and delivery department (in the same hospital I had just been laid off from), the only catch was it was a night shift. I very willingly accepted the job, and realized that I will never take it for granted. We have been so very blessed and watched over! And now that I will be working the night shift I will have a good excuse as to why I am such a crappy blogger!!!! I hope you enjoy the pictures, they remind me to enjoy the little things in life and count every little blessing!

I know....

Ok, so I know it...I am a self professed worst blogger ever! My kiddies are growing so fast, I hate it. Everyone always asks me how Hyrum is doing with a new sister...well, all I can say is she hasn't gone in the "bucket" yet. He actually has been doing much better then he was, depending on the day, and loves to play with her. Hyrum's new thing is to do "fishy face". I don't know what it is about it that he just loves.Poor Hayden!

So, when we were in UT more then a month ago, We got the kids pictures taken. My friend Allison took their pictures. She did such an excellent job!! Here are just a few of them, I am going to post more of them on my facebook, so check 'em out! You can also see some more of her amazing work at: http://www.allisonharrisphotography.blogspot.com

Easter/Wedding

OK, so this picture isn't of the kids actually ON Easter, but they are in their Easter cloths. Earlier this month we all made the trip out to California to Uncle Lee's wedding. They were married in New Port. Everything was so nice and beautiful. We had so much fun as a family. We love our new family members and are very proud of Lee. Every one of Richie's siblings were there and we had so much fun as a family. We are very grateful for the plan that we can all be together as a family!

Hayden

I am not sure if people even check my blog anymore, because I am like the worst at keeping it updated. For those of you who are die-hard, I am updating on our newest addition to the family. Her name is Megan Hayden, and is going to be going by Hayden. I was induced on Monday the 2nd at 5:00 am and she finally arrived on the 3rd at 1:30 am. She weighed in at 8 lbs. 4 oz. and was 20 1/2 in. long. She is such a sweet little baby, and big brother just loves her.
